Current Working Partnership with Families

This resource offers reflective evaluation surveys which can be completed by SMT or staff.  A healthy and inclusive school needs to recognise how working practices and the implementation of legislation and policy can assist in developing and nurturing a healthy and inclusive ethos. The surveys can be completed by head teachers, senior managers or staff to assess their current knowledge and understanding of the working practices between the school and parents or carers.

They include:

• parental skills
• support for other parents/carers
• consultation with parents/carers
• school improvement planning/educational developments
• fundraising, social events
• barriers for parents/carers
• parent council/body

The surveys aims to:

• assess how inclusive and healthy the school is in relation to working with and involving families and how you can identify improvements, next steps and who needs to be involved
